Versailles is a luxury community located in Wellington, Florida approximately 25 miles from Palm Beach and situated on the outskirts of Wellington’s equestrian community. The community contains 456 luxury estate homes varying in sizes between 2000 and 6000 square feet and was built by Transeastern Homes between 2003 and 2006. The estate homes are modeled after the architecture and opulence of the French renaissance with 25 different floor plans. Versailles was built during the height of the Florida real estate market and new home prices ranged from $750,000 to 3 million dollars during construction, but are now listed in the 400,000 to 1.5 million dollar range.
